I bought these for my Ariat boots and they do exactly what I need them to do. The outside may look like wood on the picture, but it's actually flimsy plastic. I was concerned when I took them out of the packaging, but once I got them in my boots the right way, I realized that's all you need since they have the right shape and pressure from the inside mechanism.
I'm pretty tough on my boots and when I come in from wearing them they can be pretty creased and messed up... put the boot trees in them over night, and they look great the next day!

These are great. They keep my leather boots in perfect condition and are easy to put in and out. I have a few of them and want a few more!

Received these trees for Christmas for my favorite knee-high boots. They fit perfectly inside my boots, helping them to stand tall in my closet. Yes, they are plastic, but because they're light-weight, they work well inside soft leather shafts. The only drawback? The shipping cost.

Hey Cowboys the Ariat Boot Tres will keep you boots standing tall and later on in there life they wont rub you wrong way. I now have 8 pairs of these they work GREAT.

This item comes up when searching for boot stretchers, and they are NOT! Just boot trees to keep your boots upright during storage. Great for that purpose, but will not stretch the tops of your boots! Caveat emptor!
