Loved the wildcat boot from Ariat but just knew they would discontinue it because it was too darn perfect. This boot fits like a bootie more than a work boot. Padded collar prevents snug lacing.(There goes your ankle support) The brass hardware is not something that you hook around, you actually pass your lace through so it is completely cosmetic and a complete pain to lace. The soft and squishy sole is fine until after one year you have to throw your boots away because it doesn't hold up in an industrial environment.Might be good around the barn but didn't hold up in a metal shop. A huge disappointment because there really isn't much out there to choose from.

I love this boot. I took a FULL size smaller than my normal shoe size. I wear a 6.5 and ended up with a 5.5. Took a couple of wearing to break in the boot but now it is fantastic!!! I wear it tramping through deep sand patrolling the trails.

I was disappointed with the sizng of these boots, I wear an 9 usually but purchased an 8 1/2, which still left me swimming in them. They were allot clunkier than I had expected as well. Although unhappy with the size I chose the quality is beautiful, very well made and soft leather....just wish I knew that they ran huge!

These boots do run a full size large. I ordered 1 size smaller, and will be able to wear them with thick socks. They are very light-weight for being steel toed, and fit just over the ankle. They are well made, I think they are just right for my needs.
