Better than Dansko'sFeb 01, 2009

As a teacher I am always on my feet. I have worn Dansko's for years, but these fit me better, are more supportive, and honestly, look nicer. I have gotten compliments on them every time I wear them. They are narrower than danskos, so if you have a wider than average foot, you may want to try them on first. They do feel weird to walk in at first (at least for me) but somehow they improve my posture, and I've noticed my knees and lower back aren't as achy at the end of a long day. Another nice feature, when the footbed wears out, you can buy a new one instead of having to buy a whole new shoe.

i bought these to help with my plantar fascitis, they are so comfortable and i can wear them for hours in complete comfort. i will be buying more very soon! can't beat ariats!

Originally I wore danskos at work, and they mold to your own feet after wearing them a few weeks, making them literally a perfect fit. I ordered a pair fo danskos through shoes central and they sent the wrong item, I had so much trouble returning it and getting a credit that when I saw these clogs, I decided to give them a try.
They are not dansko, they don't mold to your feet and the sides and back are very thin. However, they are very comfortable and very pretty. I have gotten so many compliments on them, and as long as I don't wear them more than about 8 or 10 hours, they are pretty much equal to dansko comfort. I would recommend that they cushion up the top rim like dansko, and then they would be perfect. I would order them in every color. But I would never ever order from shoe central.

I've worn these for work and just out and about--they pair well with jeans and dress slacks. They look and feel great, are true to size, and add just a bit of height. Well made, Ariat clogs are a good buy.

The closed clog is comfy and I like that it works well with my longer slacks and makes me look a little taller. But, it is roomy so I suggest getting the shoe 1/2 size smaller than what you normally wear.
