These are pretty much as I expected them to be, except a little too big. I usually wear a 7 1/2 so that's what I ordered, and I definitely have some room at my toes. I decided to keep them as-is because I figure I can wear thick socks in the winter and just tighten them up in the summer- but I would maybe suggest that you order a half a size down. Otherwise, they're very sturdy and pretty good looking- kind of cool and tough. I just took them to Costa Rica and wore them in the jungles and beaches and volcanic areas of the country and they were really great to have in all sorts of terrain.

These boots are worth the money. They truly are waterproof and they are one of the few endurance style boots that actually fit well into English stirrups. The sizing runs about 1/2 size too big HOWEVER if you have wide feet like I do order your regular size because they are relatively narrow shoes. I clean the stall, tack up, ride and wash one horse about 5 days a week and so far the boots have held up.

I kind of love/hate my ariat telluride shoes. I love that they are durable, but because they are durable and lace-ups they are very stiff around the ankle and difficult to get on and off. I have narrow feet so I was surprised they fit me, although I have to wear a riding sock that has a cushion heel. I wear them to work outside feeding the horses, working cows and doing yardwork and I think they're going to work out fine for that--just wish they had a hook at the top of the shoe!

This boot is very comfortable and is definitely waterproof. It is also light in weight compared to other hiking boots I have had. I have several pairs of Ariat cowboy boots and love them because of the ATS technology, so I thought I would try these. I am glad I did. No long breaking-in period, either.
