 NOT 17" BootsNov 19, 2010

Despite any descriptions you may have read regarding the Bogs Blaze MT boots, they are not 17" high anymore. I specifically wanted high boots for walking in deeper water which is why I ordered these boots. They appear to be good quality, warm, and comfortable, but they are only 15" high from the base of the heal to the top. It's possible that these boots used to be 17", but they no longer are. I returned the boots to Mack's PW and ordered the Blaze 1000 model which are 17" and even warmer. Make sure you double check the height of these boots with the store or manufacturer before ordering. Either model is a great boot though, just pick the one that suits your needs best. Hopefully Mack's and Bog's will update their descriptions, so there are no future issues.

I have to feed animals and clean their stalls twice a day no matter what the weather. It is nice to have something that is totally weather resistant and keeps my feet warm. An additional benefit is that when they get muddy, just hose them off or wait for the mud to dry and brush off the dirt. It depends on the temperature. I will never be without this boot brand ever.

My boyfriend wears his boots every day ! We have snow ,and cold mucky clay ,and he is always warm and dry . Plus the boots have great grip for clinbing !
