As expected, these are the classic boat shoes that provides best comfort with little weight.

If you wear these without socks (and, of course, they are boat shoes, so who wears socks!), the tongue has the tendency to push down below the laces as you walk. This causes the leather to crease at the base of the tongue, and that creasing and stress caused my stitching at the base of the tongue to come undone. Now I have a hole in my brand new boat shoes after just a couple of months. Should have stuck with the Sperry's, but I went for the cheaper Dockers shoe, and got what I paid for.

I must say that the shoes look good however I thought 8.5EE would fit as well as the CLARKS shoes I had purchased earlier from Amazon. If you need a wide width shoe please consider passing on these.

My grandson wanted these shoes, so, of course, Grandmom bought them! The price was great as were the shoes. I would buy them again!
