These worked great for a 2800 mile (rt) motorcycle ride! Easy to put on, kept the rain from blowing up into the pants leg, could adjust the fit snugly to keep them from flapping, perfect height so they didn't ride in the bend of the knee, the lace hook is sturdy and prevents ride-up, and the under the boot strap is adjustable to allow for a range of different shoes and boots...the ONLY problem was the PLASTIC buckle at the top didn't "bite" like it should every time. It was the one thing that had to be checked and rechecked throughout the trip. Sometimes it would pop open and sometimes it would slide loose but if it was carefully locked down it would hold and hold well the whole time. When putting them back on again later tho, it needed inspection to be sure it was still properly in place and had a good grip.
