Waterproof (duh), but also warm and comfortable fit. Nicely snug around arch, so no slipping. Bought pairs for wife and me, both very satisfied.

Comfortable BootsOct 26, 2010
By Mitch Very comfortable boots, much better than $30 farm type rubber boots. Only concern would be poking a hole in the neoprene uppers. I do more upland hunting on public land and only need the waterproofing for those occasional mis-steps, so wearing them like cowboy boots protects the uppers from getting poked through. Natural insulation from neoprene makes them fairly comfortable in warm weather, perfect as it gets cooler, and easy to accomodate cold with extra socks.
Great bog bootsDec 24, 2011
By kmquinn Mud boots that are true to size and color, sturdy and light weight easy to run in as well as working in very wet & boggy areas. Easy clean, value for money & highly recommend for all purposes
best hunting boot for the moneyJul 29, 2011
By englishsetterbrdhntr I have just bought my second pair of these boots and am thinking of picking up another pair for the future especially at this price. I hunt in PA where the multifloral rose is awefull and my first pair is holding up nicely. I bird hunt, archery hunt, if you can hunt it I am after it. I have put many miles on these boots and they continue to keep my feet dry. They are not real warm in the dead of winter or out ice fishing but are great for archery and bird hunting in the fall and gobbler hunting in the spring. These boots wear like tennis shoes when they are on your feet and are not bulky at all. If you put a insole heat insert in them they do ok in colder weather. I would highly recommend these boots if you are looking for something well built and comfortable. I solely hunt with these alpha lites and do not own a pair of leather ones anymore. Try them out you won't be sorry.
Hunting BootsApr 23, 2010
By Stephen A. Washburn I love these boots, they are warm and very light weight. Durning the recent snow storms here in DC, I wore them all day with out hardly noticing any sweating or discomfort. While hunting in the Bogs of Newfoundland they were wonderful to walk in all day.
