5G.I. Type desert tan suede jungle bootApr 01, 2008
By SAL "Mr. Lajara"
For walking all day, I found the boot to be very comfortable; I weight 160lbs. If you are looking for rugged, this boot is not it. The leather is very thin and the boot feels very light. The speed lace feature makes putting on the boots much easier than conventional boots; pull the top edges of the boot appart and the laces slide. The boot looks as good as it does on the pictures.

The shoes lace up very easily and they are comfortable, but after only 1 week the soles started to come off the bottom of the shoe

3More for style, not workApr 02, 2011
By M.M
My first opinion when they came in the mail today was that these boots are cheap. They look cheap and feel cheap. This is what I expected having only paid $32. They are not rigid like a work boot and are a very light "tan", (almost white). I play airsoft and they look good with my different sets of camo. They are roughly 8 inches tall and are actually pretty comfortable the first time I put them on. I didnt want an expensive boot because I'm only going to wear them once or twice a month so I hope they will hold up for that much. Conclusion: They look good with camo for all you airsofters/paintballers and they flimsy so it should be easy to run in them, but I do not believe they will hold up for moderate to heavy use such as work or hiking trips. Also they run a bit big. I wear a size 9.5 got a size 9 and they are still a little too big. Overall, they should work well for what I intend to do with them but not so much for anything outside of that. As we all know you get what you pay for.

These boots feel very cheap and are made in china! They do not seem to be authentic! We are returning them! I guess I should have paid more attention to the words G.I TYPE! boots.

3Definately runs at least 1 size large, soles wear fastOct 24, 2011
By Darcy Davis
Got a pair of these for my 9yo son. They do run a full size large which I knew from other reviews so we were prepared for them to be a bit large since we were ordering a size 3 and couldn't go any smaller. My son loves them and has been wearing them nonstop since he got them a couple of weeks ago but we've already had to replace the insoles and the tread is wearing at an alarming rate. So all in all I am not sure how I feel about them, my son is satisfied but I'm afraid he'll need another pair inside of a few more months and that could get a bit pricey.
