Very comfortable slip on loafer. The fit is true to size. I highly recommend the shoe.

The heel of this shoe has a horseshoe shaped jel cushion. The one in my right shoe burst recently ruining my sock and forcing me to throw the pair away. I was at work the day it burst and I had to walk around all day with this wet feeling in my shoe. Very unpleasant.
I've uploaded a picture of the jel pad which burst.
The irony is that the jel pad is to make walking more comfortable, but these shoes were never very comfortable to me. They are stiff and the sole is not very cushioned, so I would never wear them if I expected to do a lot of walking. I originally bought them when I was preparing for a trip to New York, but instead I ended up wearing a pair of Rock Ports that I bought at the same time. The tread on the shoe is almost new, again showing that I hardly wore them.
I have owned the pair for about one year, but only occasionally worn them so this shouldn't have happened.
Disappointed. Don't recommend.
