My last pair of Rockports were worn down to the sole. I tried to replace them with other brands but I needed the same comfort and feel. So after a long search (seems Rockport boots are hard to find), I settled on these. These Gabrals are made of soft leather and are light so break-in time is minimal. The cushioning is by Adidas, but it doesn't feel like a sneaker (which is why I loved my last pair). The boots are also a bit narrow for Medium width and the traction isn't the greatest considering they were made for hiking. All in all, these are better than other boots I have tried, but it seems Rockport is declining in quality.
