Rockport use to be my first choice of shoes but their boot line sucks. I ordered Megawatt boots 9 size Wide for a reason of Rockport quality but I was greatly disappointed because it doesn't grip in wet weather and their wide size is equal to narrow regular. My right foot is ok but the left shoe is constantly biting on my pinkie toe which makes me very uncomfortable. I would never buy Rockport boots again.

The soles are more like sneakers. They are OK for flat firm surfaces but no good on most trails.
Even worse is that there is no seal with the soles; water comes in easily. Nothing quite like wet feet!

After two years these boots are still better than Timbs. Other than that they can not with stand time. Water starts to seep thru the front and they become uncomfortable to walk in. Stylish is what I would call them. Only walked around in NYC. These boots don't stand up well toward weather and tough terrain.
