Pleased with my purchaseMay 19, 2009
By mphub Just as good looking as the Sperry topsiders I have worn for years but much more comfortable to walk in. The shoe is very light and the air cushioning in the sole makes all the difference. The only mild negative is that the shoe bottoms are very white and seem to draw the most attention and remarks. I can't wait until I can scruff them up a little bit.

Nice casual shoesMay 06, 2009
By endsng I have been wearing these for a while now, and i'm very happy with them. Very nice, upscale looking casual shoes, great without socks. Also great if you get caught in the rain, no problems.

Worth the priceSep 09, 2009
By RobRoy This Rockport model costs more than typical boat shoes, but is worth the money. The shoe is sturdy and real quality. My other, cheaper boat shoes annoy me whenever I step on rocks or rough ground and feel the rock under my shoe. You won't feel anything under these thick soles.
Comfortable shoe with arch supportSep 14, 2010
By James Mcinnis With short, wide feet it is very difficult to find comfortable shoes that fit. These fit great. The shoes give you the grip of a boat shoe with solid arch support.

Poor quality, size misleadingApr 06, 2010
By Byron D. Russell The size and width of the shoes I ordered is supposed to be the same as the pair of similar Rockports that these are meant to replace. But I find that the width, while supposed to be a wide, is much narrower. I was willing to deal with the sizing issue, hoping the leather would stretch enough with time as the shoes are broken in. But now that I have worn them three or four days a week for about four weeks I find that the sole is separating. I have only worn them on flat paved or carpeted dry surfaces. Nevertheless a part of the sole on one shoe is curling off. Unacceptable. Now I have to see if I can return them for a refund
