Excellent materialsNov 03, 2011
By Sai He I actually got these at a local Goodwill for $6, quite the steal! Don't worry, the product is exactly the same as the one pictured above. I have never been a fan of Sperry's, as I have found that they wear out too quickly, especially when paired with a leather upper. On these Rockport's, the leather is incredibly supple and soft - something you never find on a boat shoe under $50. It is easy to clean (I have the white/blue pair with white upper), and it does not get scratched very easily. If you are concerned with the durability of your boat shoes, these Rockports are the solution. The only qualm I have would have to be the weight of the shoes. I have found the Rockports to weigh a bit more than my shoes in the past. It is slightly noticeable, and not a big deal, but for someone like me who is used to a lighter shoe, the Rockports are something I have to get adjusted to. If you seek an inexpensive pair of boat shoes with a beautiful leather upper, these Rockports are perfect for you!

Much better and more comfortable than Sperry'sApr 05, 2011
By Jean Claude Van Dang These are great. The quality is much higher than my Sperry's (which only last me between 6 months to 1 year). Out of the box they don't require me to wear in the leather. So far so good. I'd def recommend these. Sizing is the same as Sperry's from what I can tell. Rockports=comfort.

Comfortable, Great-looking ShoeSep 08, 2011
By Hotswimmer I just bought this pair of shoes (in Navy/White) and have only worn them a few times, so for now all I can say is that these are very comfortable, well-made, good-fitting shoes. The leather is supple and of a nice weight - I'm totally comfortable wearing them without socks, and I've had no problems with the dye coming off and staining my feet. At least as good as the Sperry version I used to buy, and probably better - I'll update as I put some miles on them.
