"Very comfortable overall"Sep 18, 2011

I've worn several styles of Rockport boots over the past five years and have found the quality and looks to be quite impressive for the price. The "summit view" advertised as black is actually dark blue. I found the "Adidas ADi-Prene" insole to be much thinner and much less comfortable than than the old "DMX Dynamic Suspension" insoles that Rockports were previously known for. Rockport, according to "Wiki Answers" is now owned by Adidas. They may want to consider re-visiting the "DMX insoles". Although Adidas reportedly still has its' headquarters in Massachusetts they no longer have shoes manufactured in the U.S.
good boots for the price, but not the best...Dec 11, 2011
By skfromhouston I have been a Timberland boot user for a long time and love them. For a change, since I like Rockport formals, I tried Rockport boots. I have been using this boots for last 10 days now and find it to be fairly comfortable, even with 6+ hours of wearing. Styling is okay (not bad). Based on someone's previous review, i found .5+ size a better fit. As a package and the price i paid (cyber monday deal), it gets my thumbs up... However, on an absolute scale, Timberland boots are winner hands down.
These shoes turned me into a goatNov 23, 2011
By AmazonMember I had a 10 day trip into rural Haiti. The grip these boots gave me was shocking. Everytime I scrambled up or down a bank or across concrete structures and beams, these boots gave me a sure footedness I was not use to. They are also rather light for being a boot and they were perfectly comfortable. I had to get a 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear.
