I wanted something more stylish than athletic shoes for walking to work. These boots are perfect. They go with anything I wear, look good, and feel great to walk in all day. I am a teacher and spend lots of time on my feet walking around the classroom. My feet a very happy in these boots. I just wish I had ordered a second pair while there were still some in my width, because I don't want to wear anything else.
If I had two pair I would use one pair for walking and work and the second pair for camping, hikes, and the beach. Now I am using my single pair for everything and I have a feeling they are going to get beat up pretty fast. (So far so good though and the scuffs and dirt cleans off easily with a slightly damp cloth.)
I am not sure how waterproof they are, but I have worn them in light rain and through dewy grasses without getting wet feet or staining the leather.

The boots are very comfortable for walking, but I was disappointed that they were black suede, because I had been expecting black plain leather, based on the photos. I am keeping them because they're very comfortable for walking in.

oh my God...these are the best!!! feeling boots I have ever! owned.....they feel like Im walking on air!!!
There well made....nice looking...feels great! and I have really walked! in these boots.....I will order another pair! just to have a back up pair!
Note: for instance, if you wear a size 8....but your feet are wide/thick like mine...order a size 9....the 9 fits perfectly comfortable.

Thee boots arrived quickly. I ordered them from Amazon. This is my second pair of Rockport boots. I have another style that are very comfortable and so I decided to give these a try. These boots look nice with jeans and ar comfortable for walking.

I am going travelling and needed a comfy solid pair of waterproof shoes. I wear Redback boots all the time, but they are too heavy for long days of walking and my feet ache at the end of the day. The Rockport boots are awesome, the most comfy shoes I have ever worn. They are super light, they have a bit of bounce and make you feel energised while wearing them, my feet don't get sore or tired and I didn't even need to wear them in. I have been wearing them everyday ALL day since I put them on. If you're on your feet all day, these are worth every cent. Love love love these shoes.
