More of a sneaker than a bootJul 08, 2011

This is a good shoe, but not the ankle boot I was looking for; it's more like a hi-top sneaker. Sized a little more narrow than an M it's definitely a shoe you're going to want to "break in" before wearing. The arch support is really nonexistent. If you're hiking the sidewalks or the mall, it's a good shoe. If you're looking for an ankle boot to wear on a camping trip, buy something else.

By Amber Janosko I had to return the first pair, due to the sock lining was thin. BUT the second pair was great. True Fit and great price. I would not suggest using them for a long hike, but under 10 miles the boots are light and good ankle support. I am not sure if they are water proof. I don't really need them to be, I can always scotchguard them.
