I tried these on at the Skechers outlet store and loved the look and feel. The only problem was that they didn't have them in a wide size. I found them at Amazon and ordered the extra wide. They are more than wide enough, maybe a bit too wide. They are extremely comfortable and look great as a casual shoe. One thing to consider when purchasing is that since they are Skate shoes they have flat soles. This means the shoe isn't as comfortable as other types of sneakers when doing a lot of walking on hard surfaces. However, because they can fit my wide feet, they are generally more comfortable than a lot of other shoes I have. Another bad thing is the rim of the sole is white. I wish it was an off-white or beige color instead because I know it will prematurely show dirt and staining. With Amazon's free shipping and a sale, these were moderately priced.

I've owned a pair of these shoes for about a year now and I will probably buy another pair or two. They look great and they are exceptionally comfortable. On many occasions I have received compliments from friends and even strangers about these shoes. Finally, I must confess that I really enjoy their casual style.

I've worn skate shoes off and on for years, although I don't skate. I've worn Sketchers for a while because they are fairly cheap and are durable. These shoes are no exception. My only complaint is the thickness and flatness of the sole. I almost thought I had shape-ups at first. the shoe has a nice snug fit and much more support than the Airwalks or Vans I used to buy.

If you're like me, you're wondering if the shoe pictured is the shoe delivered. It is. The body of the shoe is a lighter khaki than shown, but otherwise it's the same shoe. I like the shoe colors, I like the way the material feels, I like the rubbery sole (which is a very light khaki color if that makes a difference). I would probably shop around first, just to see what's out there, but I could see myself getting these shoes again.

These shoes are great. They last me for nearly a year (I am on my second pair). I would recommend reading through the rest of the comments, as I agree with what other say. I often walk 1 to 2 hours a day and these shoes are great for walking. I bought the most recent pair because I was getting blisters on the side of my foot when they finally wore down and had a strange wore out part inside of one of the shoes (it was rubbing my foot while I walked). I threat them pretty rough and they generally hold up. They are a great price to value. I would recommend.
