I am a tall person going through typical tall guy pains. I have knee, back and neck pain. When these came out, i was like ok, I will wait and see what the buzz is. The buzz was that they could help with knee and back pain. I am still athletically inclined so I was hoping that my day to day pain would subside. And YES IT HAS!!! It takes a little getting used to walking in them, but once you have, you hardly notice they are a different type of shoe. But other people do. Be prepared to talk about your Shape Ups. Conversation starter for sure.
They seem well built, I have had mine since the summer of 2010. They don't seem to be wearing down much, I wear them almost daily. Comfortable to wear for hours. This was such a good purchase, I have been recommending to any and everyone. Amazon also had a the best price on them. I may have to buy a 2nd pair.

Diagnosed with Plantar Facviitis. Started using these before I received my inserts and they helped emensly. Reduced foor pain by 90%. Would reccomend for most. Would not recommend for those with week ankles.

SHIPPING IT OUT TOOK AWHILE. BESIDES IT EVERYTHING WENT WELL. SHOES ARE GREAT. SECOND PAIR IVE HAD SINCE SHAPE UPS WERE RELEASED. USED AT WORK AND DO A LOT OF WALKING ON IT THROUGHOUT MY DAY. AM SATISFIED WITH PRODUCT. MATERIAL OF PRODUCT IS A BIT MORE DELICATE THEN OTHER SHAPE UP SHOES. THEN AGAIN I USE IT AT WORK IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY. JUST NOTICED IT TENDS NOT TO HOLD UP ON STAYING CLEAN EASILY AND TENDS TO SEEM LIKE FADING SINCE I BLOW IT DOWN WITH A BLOWGUN DAILY. OVERALL AM SATISFIED.....

When they first came out on the market, I bought myself several pairs of Skechers Shape Ups for women and LOVE them. So when I saw these Shape Ups for men, in the same style I normally buy my son (but without the shape up sole) and in his very large size, I had to buy them for him. He's gained a lot of weight and I thought wearing these at work would give him a little extra exercise throughout the day. My son's very picky about his shoes so I knew there was a chance he wouldn't like them...walking in the Shape Ups takes a few days to get used to. Much to my surprise, he loves them! The thicker soles provide extra support for when he spends a lot of time on his feet. And as a concerned mom, the Shape Up technology makes me feel like he's getting much needed exercise and health benefits. Thanks to Skechers for making these available and thanks to Amazon for an unbeatable price!!!

these shoes really feel great to walk on, I have never felt anything quite like it and i walked 2 hours yesterday and felt my lower back strengthening because of these shoes, i was shocked and my calves were burning more then usual as well. excellent product. and for $42 and free ship and no tax... wow unbeatable. Amazon is amazing.
