Love my Skechers!May 28, 2010
By J. Blair These sandals are not as shaping as shape-ups but feel pretty good. I absolutely love my shape-ups and this is the next best thing for summer. The leather is a little hard and that is why these received 4 stars instead of 5. I will probably try a different style for the next pair... and there will be a next pair!

The thong stretchedAug 07, 2010
By kr I love the look of these but they do run big. I ordered a size smaller than usual and they are still a little big, but for flip flops you can get by. However after a couple of months the leather thong part seems to have stretched. Now they are really flipping and flopping. I am thinking of trying to shrink it somehow (hot water/dryer??)or bringing them to a shoemaker to tighten. Not sure what to do about this. Too bad, because I really like them for summer.

Buyer BewareJun 29, 2010
By Sherri Watson These shoes feel great on your feet, but if you have a history of knee problems they may cause problems. After wearing my pair for a few days I began to have knee pain, mostly to the backs of my knees. It took four days after I quit wearing the shoes for the pain to go away. I tried wearing the shoes again, only to get the same result... the pain was significant and not from muscle soreness. My adult daughter tried the shoes after they were a bust for me and she developed lower back pain. Some people just loved the Tone-ups, but they may not be for everyone.

very attractive "flip flops"Apr 21, 2010

"somethingelse"
I bought the green and like them very much; they look quality. I bought half size up as recommended and that worked out well. I can't say much about the "toning effect" as I just wear these around the house.
Sad and disappointing!!!!May 16, 2012

"book worm in extremis"
I have 5 pairs of Sketchers shape-up thong sandals and this is the ONLY pair that hurts to wear! The leather strap across the top of the foot hits the bone. I have tried to stretch the leather,to no avail. It hurts too much to wear them for very long. Unforunately I purchased them at a brick & morter store and cannot return them. I don't mind paying extra for Sketchers brand shoes because they are always so comfortable but these are the worst ever. These are even a size bigger than my foot size. I got 8s because my feet occasionally swell but these feel like they are a size 6-1/2.
