The insole is a removable dual density Ultimate Shock Absorption footbed on Poron 4000 Comfort Cushion. The midsole is rubber and the shank is fiberglass. The outsole is composed of Vibram Christy Blown Rubber Wedge. Slip-resistant and non-marking. Made in USA by ISO 9001 Certified Shoe Company. Perfect for general work or iron workers. Boots appear to be well made and are comfortable. Thought they had a lining of some sort, but they don't, which is fine, just means my socks will get color bled into from the new leather.
Wore Red Wings before, but they quit making this style, and they sized up the same, both 11.5 fit the same. Seem pretty light weight which is nice. The 4 stars only is just because I thought it said they had a lining, which they don't, and because they have an eye instead of a hook on the highest lace point.
