Nice looking, but no substance.Jun 19, 2009
By Theraphosa I bought these to wear, both at work and on my motorcycle (as I commuted back and forth).
Overall, they were UNsatisfactory.
While they were fairly comfortable for steel toed boots, I found that the leather was so thin that, after one commute, the slight abrasion from the shift lever was wearing through to the steel toe. I'm not a sport bike rider, I was commuting on an '05 Kawasaki Concours. I shifted gently and not very often. Most of my commute is interstate. Upon closer examination, you can see that these boots are constructed rather cheaply. Consequently they wore out in two days and I returned them. If you are not going to subject them to a lot of hard wear, these boots might be okay for you. However, most people who get steel toed boots count on them to be rough and ready. I wouldn't recommend these boots if you planned to actually "work" in them.

These boots are JUNK I do not recommend getting them. After about 2 1/2 months of wearing them the boot lace loops started breaking. What a waste of money.
Wow, nicest Boots I saw recentlyOct 19, 2011
By Gicev Toni Wow, nice, never expected such good product, stayed without word for couple of minutes after taking them out of the box. This boots are simply great, Timberland boots are good but this one were much more than what I expected for 60USD. Ordered this pair for my son, will order right now one for my self. Thanks Amazon. Thanks TImberland.

By Steven T. Rolen Very comfortable, relatively short time wearing them until they are comfortable, broken in! Good for work in rugged terrain and very good in hot weather too.

I purchased these steel toe hiker shoes for my husband to work in. He is a welder and is on his feet all day long. These have been the most comfortable shoes he has had for quite some time. He may burn through them a bit faster than work boots, but the comfort is worth it. I will purchase these again on a regular basis.
