 Just a short-term fix.Oct 03, 2011

I got a pair for the security beat at a local bar. While they're comfortable, they're also dying after a couple months of fairly easy, if long, wear. The leather, despite upkeep, is splitting and cracking. The sole is, at this point, flattened out.
If you need a boot that'll hold up for a short time or casual use, nab 'em. If you're going to be living in the things, well...you get what you pay for. Shell out for something actually military issue, or similar.

I have recently purchased the Ultra Force Black Jungle Boots and for the money this product is inferior in every way shape and form. While the boots are comfortable, they fall apart with little to no effort. If you need a pair of boots for a costume party that you can immediately through away, then these are the boots for you. After wearing the boots for only 10 to 12 hours the tread on the inner heal cracked and fell off and the eyelets are pulling away from the leather. Again, these are attractive comfortable boots, they just have absolutely no value when it comes to durability. Believe my I know a good combat boot from my 6 years of wearing them in the USMC and I would not recommend these boots to anyone.

I was looking for a good basic pair of black combat boots, and after extensive searching, I landed upon these. The price is great, and on my current budget, I am not able to spend $100 or more on a pair of boots. For those like me that are on a tight budget, these are a great pair of boots. They are very comfortable and lightweight, though I am afraid to wear them in rainy conditions. I would honestly feel more comfortable wearing them in mild, sunny weather. They don't seem to be able to withstand harsh elements too well, such as heavy rain or snow. But they look great with my black BDU's and I barely feel like I am wearing them. Just a note to those wanting to buy them...order a size smaller than what you wear AT LEAST. I wear a men's size 8 and my feet practically swim in these. They feel about 2 sizes too big but that's okay, I like my boots a little roomy. A very nice boot for a very reasonable price.

I was looking for a pair of black army style boots, and purchased these as the price was very reasonable. The boots are just what I was looking for! Glad I found them on Amazon.

I had ordered a pair of these boots for a halloween costume and they were delivered on time, however they were 2 sizes bigger than i had ordered. with little time until halloween i was very disappointed with the disorganization.
