I am over 40 and was thrilled with the Barricade 5 for support and comfort. I wanted to buy the same style, but could not find in my size. I reevaluted and tried other brands with no luck. I ended up ordering the Barricade 6. I can't believe I like them better than the 5's! They are lighter, yet still supportive and comfortable. What a great shoe!

I've tried many different Brand Name shoes and Adidas is my all time favorite tennis shoe. The Adidas Barricade Adilibria and Adidas Barricade V are the best. They fit well, didn't irritate my toes, no seams in the wrong places. They are good on hard courts and clay.

I am a lover of Adidas. I saw these in Tennis Magazine and I figured, since they recommended them, I would give them a try.
The White/Black Silver Metallic/Ultra Beauty is a crazy pink color (I didn't mind since they were reduced to $50). I have only worn them for about 2 months (playing about 30 hours of tennis). They are comfortable, they are not bulky (for my very narrow feet), they seem to have pretty good ventilation, GREAT traction, the front toe part is not wearing away (I drag my foot on the toe part when I serve).
I have always gotten Adidas tennis shoes and out of my 5 or so pairs these are the best! The color is a bit gaudy and the metallic stripes are obnoxious, but I am fine with using that to my advantage and attracting/distracting my opponent by my shoes so I can win the match;)
Overall I give it a:
9 out of 10 for durability (maybe 10 for 10 if I had them longer)
8 out of 10 for color/style
9 out of 10 for comfort
9 out of 10 for ventilation
Size is pretty much right on for me (although I wear 2 pairs of socks for each match)
If you are considering buying them do the right thing: BUY THEM! Or you can give them to me if you don't like them;)

The tennis shoes are excelent, though my only concern was that I read an item review in another page that said that this specific model ran 1/2 size bigger than other Adidas tennis shoes.
THAT IS NOT TRUE. They have the same size as my older pair. First I order 1/2 size smaller, but gratefully I was able to make the change on time before they were sent by the suppier.
Im happy with my purchase.
