3Fit was wrong, too narrow and small on topJul 08, 2009
By L. West "gadget geek"
I purchased and had to return. I've been wearing adidas for a couple of years and haven't had this problem before. I typically like a good trail shoe just because of the terrain on my property - uneven with rocks, and running shoes in general always feel better on my feet.

I think I would've liked these except they felt like a narrow rather than medium width, or something was flawed with this pair. First, I do have a high arch and high instep, but I have a regular width foot, far from wide but not quite narrow. I barely had enough lace to tie them, and when I did the sides were still far apart. Any tighter was unbearable. The top of the shoe between the laces and the toe, felt like it was pressing downward on my foot, particularly my right foot (which is actually slightly smaller than my left). Visually you could see the difference and the top of the right definitely bowed further in than the left. I really wanted to like this shoe and maybe I just got a bad pair but I just returned rather than exchanged. Untied, I could still see where I would've liked them - they were light weight, good grip, with enough cushion. I might be inclined later to try this shoe again or an updated version. In the meantime though I am still wearing my regular adidas runners and my old adidas trail running shoes.

1Way, Way, Way Too SmallNov 01, 2009
By R. A. Stapp
I've had two other pairs of Adidas trail running shoes of different models, both in size 6.5 which fit me perfectly. I know shoe size can vary between companies, but it is ridiculous when the same company can't consistently size its own shoes! I couldn't even get these on my feet they were so small. (And lest any reader think I am in some sort of crazy denial about my foot size, I was wearing one of my older pairs of size 6.5 Adidas trail running shoes when I tried these on and the size difference was profound. I got the older pair at a brick and mortar shoe store and as soon as I put them on I knew they were a perfect fit -- with these, not so much.)

I've read some other reviews that recommend ordering up a half size, but I think the 6.5 size is really a full size smaller than that -- if not more. It's really annoying to have to return them because the shipping comes out of my refund on the grounds that Amazon considers the size being too small as not their fault. I agree that it isn't Amazon's fault, but I do consider it Adidas's fault because these shoes should fit. The labeled size is not correct and it is verging on deceptive to claim they are 6.5, when they absolutely are not.

The lesson I take from this is not to buy shoes online unless I've already tried the exact model on and have confirmed what size will fit me. Now I know that just because I've bought shoes from a company before and consistently worn the same size with that company, doesn't mean a different model of their shoe will fit remotely correctly even if it is the same size I've always worn.

4Great shoes...Aug 30, 2009
By V. L. Matson "Vallynn12"
I had a pair of adidas trail running shoes last year and LOVED them, so I bought these. I do agree with everyone to buy a bigger size than you normally wear - I learned this the hard way. But if they wear and support as well as the shoes I had last year, then it would be well worth the hassle!!

4I love AdidasJul 10, 2010

Adidas are my favorites but the inside could use more cushioning. They kind of cheap out there. An insole will be a nice addition.

4WinterizedJan 31, 2010
By Alejandra A. Coya
Very beautifull shoes, I think is a litte small, I have to use it with very thin socks. Also they forgot to say that it's WINTERIZED (for running in cold weather)... imagine I live in Venezuela!! ... tropic, hot during almost all year lol ... so I suppose I will use it when I'll go to La Colonia Tovar or Merida... or during cold nights.

Un poco pequeños y algo que olvidaron decir es que son para correr en climas frios... no para Venezuela que está en el trópico!! De todos modos son unos zapatos bonitos y comodos, asegurense de vivir en clima frio si los van a comprar.
